Online Registration Closing

This is a reminder that online registration for the New Orleans convention is closing today at 5 PM MST. We will offer On-Site Registration in New Orleans from Feb. 16 - 20, 2010.

Onsite Registration

Convention registration will take place at the Hilton Riverside, First Level (street level), at the entrance to the Grand Ballroom.  Participants who are not registered may register and pre-registered participants may pick up their name badges and programs during the following registration hours:

• Tuesday, February 16        11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Wednesday, February 17   8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Thursday, February 18        8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Friday, February 19              8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Saturday, February 20         8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

On-Site Registration Rates: Feb. 16 - 20, 2010

• ISA Member: $170
• Non-Member: $220
• Student Member: $110
• Student Non-Member: $135

As always, we encourage participants to take advantage of ISA's generous pre-registration period (started in April '09) and late-registration periods to register online in advance of the convention. This allows you to get a cheaper rate and saves you the time and frustration of standing in a long line to pay on-site.

Travel Grant Disbursements 2010

ISA members awarded travel grants for the 2010 Convention should bring photocopies of travel receipts (that ISA can keep) to the ISA Travel Grant Desk in the ISA Registration Area (Lower Level - Hilton) during the following times:

• Wednesday, Feb. 17: 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
• Thursday, Feb. 18: 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
• Friday, Feb. 19: 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
• Saturday, Feb. 20: 10:00 am to 12:00 pm

Checks may be cashed at the Hilton Front Desk (Registration) during the following times:

• Wednesday, Feb. 17: 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
• Thursday, Feb. 18: 8:00 am to 10:00 am, 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
• Friday, Feb. 19: 8:00 am to 10:00 am, 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
• Saturday, Feb. 20: 8:00 am to 10:00 am, 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm

Proper photo ID is required.

Walking Directions To/From The Loews New Orleans Hotel

Panels are conducted at both the Hilton New Orleans Riverside Hotel and the Loews New Orleans Hotel. The Hilton is located at Two Poydras Street (Google map). The Loews is located at 300 Paydras Street (Google map), 2.5 blocks from the Hilton. 

Directions FROM the Hilton TO Loews (Google Maps):

• From the Hilton, exit the revolving doors on the lower level and veer left onto Tchoupitoulas Street, then immediately left onto Poydras Street.
• Continue walking West on Poydras 3 short blocks to 300 Poydras.

Directions FROM the Loews TO the Hilton (Google Maps):

• Exit the front of the hotel onto Poydras Street, walk right 3 short blocks and veer right onto Tchoupitoulas Street.

Walk time is less than 5 minutes each way.

Hotel Room Blocks Now Full

The cutoff date for all ISA hotel group rates has closed.  ISA does not have partnerships with any other hotels in the city.  However, the following hotels have availability for arrivals Tuesday, February 16 through Saturday, Feb 20.  Availability is subject to change daily. Please contact the hotels directly to make reservations.  ISA is neither managing nor coordinating rooms at these properties – please do not contact ISA.  Online reservations are not available; you must call the hotel to request the ISA rate. All rates are exclusive of tax.

ISA Group Rate Expires Sept. 21st

Please note that our group rate expires on Jan. 21st, though some overflow hotels will continue to offer ISA group rates after that date, please see the Room Rates listed for each hotel.

The Wyndham, Westin and Astor still have rooms available at the ISA group rate.

Loews Hotel Now Full

The ISA convention-rate room block at the Loews Hotel - New Orleans is now full. For more information on our other overflow hotels, please see our Convention Hotels website.

Westin Reduces Convention Room Rates

The Westin New Orleans Canal Place, one of the overflow hotels for our New Orleans Convention, has just announced a room rate change. They have reduced their room rate to $159 Single or Double & $185 Triple/Quad. For more information on all of our overflow hotels, please see our Convention Hotels website.
