Regions are geographic sub-units of ISA, offering opportunities for North American members to exchange ideas and research with local colleagues. Each U.S. and Canadian member of ISA is automatically identified with the regional grouping of his or her area. Presently, the ISA distinguishes five North American geographical regions: Northeast, South, Midwest, West, and Canada. The Asia-Pacific Region was chartered by the ISA Governing Council at the Annual Convention in New York in 2009 and is ISA's newest region.
All region presidents are members of the Governing Council.
Please note: A portion of every ISA member's dues is allocated toward their representation in their respective region. No additional membership is necessary for ISA Regions.
