The European University at St. Petersburg is a high-end non-state graduate college set up in 1995 for the purpose of advancing training and research in economics, anthropology, history, political science, sociology, and history of the arts. It runs the only in Russia English-language MA program in Russian and Eurasian studies (IMARES).
