As Director of Online Services, Joel manages the team responsible for creating and maintaining ISA’s presence on the Internet and World Wide Web.
Major areas of responsibility: create and update the various ISA websites; manage and moderate e-mail listserv; write, edit and disseminate Association news using the Web, e-newsletter, listserve and blogs; manage ISA's presence on social and professional networks; manage and maintain the ISA employment listings service; oversee the integration of e-commerce applications into the ISA website; manage and maintain a comprehensive web based listing of international studies links and resources; manage links and cross promotions with other sites and Cooperating Organizations; assist the Regions and Section Coordinator and Convention Manager with the transfer of printed material (including Officer Handbook, Annual Convention and International Conference programs) to the web, and assist ISA Regions and Sections with their web projects.
Joel received his BA in Political Science and MA in International Relations from the University of Arizona.
