The Brazilian International Relations Association (ABRI) was established on September 30th, 2005 during the National Seminar on The Study of International Relations in Brazil held in Belo Horizonte (MG). ABRI is a product of the cooperation effort of the main university and research institutions which have structured programs dedicated to provide graduate degrees and research activities in the field of International Relations. The establishment of ABRI is a true landmark in the process of consolidating International Relations as a distinct academic area in Brazil, a long sought objective among students and researchers in our country.
