The Russian Association of International Studies (RAMI) established by December 22, 1999. The Association is one of the most active national association for the study of international relations within the International Studies Association (ISA). The purpose of the Association is the preservation and promotion of the best traditions in the study of international relations and the problems of teaching the relevant school subjects.The Association has a task of maintaining and developing professional standards of research and teaching of international relations and world politics in Russia and the development of professional contacts with its foreign and international associations also, the establishment of close ties between researchers and teachers working in the field of international relations and world politics . In addition, the Association contributes to the development of informal contacts between representatives of the political elite, and research and consultation in the field of world politics and international relations.
