The Policy Studies Organization is a non-profit organization with a major interest in the development of curriculum. We sponsor and organize several academic meetings throughout the year, giving members an opportunity to meet each other, to hear panels and attend receptions where the PSO leadership is present, and to visit the display booths where recent PSO publications, including the Policy Studies Journal, Review of Policy Research, Politics & Policy, Asian Politics & Policy, Digest of Middles East Studies, Latin American Policy, Policy & Internet, World Medical & Health Policy, Poverty & Public Policy, Risk, Hazards & Crisis in Public Policy and the various Lexington Press series are displayed.
The Policy Studies Organization includes more than 2700 universities and institutions in its membership as well as individuals in more than 80 countries. From our headquarters in the APSA National Office building near Dupont Circle in Washington, once the home of the families of President James Garfield and the labor leader Samuel Gompers, the society organizes conferences and seminars, publishes journals and books, as well as offering a growing internet presence. Please visit the PSO website for more information on our upcoming events.
