Participant Registration Deadline

Today is the participant registration deadline for the 2011 Annual Convention. What does this mean? It means that if you have been accepted as a participant (as a panel chair, discussant, paper presenter or poster presenter), you should register today to remain on the program. This deadline is intended to ensure that everyone who has been accepted has confirmed their participation and that those who cannot attend allow us to accept those on the wait-list. Many worthy proposals were declined due to space limitations and we would like to accommodate as many of those as possible. Please see the annual convention registration website for more information. Visa Requirements

For everyone attending ISA's 2011 Annual Convention in Montreal, please be aware that conference participants from particular countries are required to have a Visa to enter Canada. Click the link below to access a list of countries that require a Visa. If you require a Visa, please apply for a Tourist Visa. If you need a letter from ISA, please let us know as soon as possible and we will be happy to assist you.

Working Group Registration Begins

ARCHIVED POST: ISA Working Groups provide a forum for conference attendees to discuss some of the most thought-provoking issues in their sections as well as their own research through an extended and focused discussion. It is thought that such dialogue will stimulate new research questions and project ideas, and may contribute to development of new communities of scholars. Online registration for Working Groups will begin at 10am PST on Monday, September 27, 2010 here. Historically, working groups fill up quickly. Attendance is free and is on a first-come, first-served basis. Each Working Group is limited to approximately 20-25 participants. Participants will be notified of their acceptance via email.

Deadline: Withdrawal Deadline

Today is the last day to withdraw from the ISA 2011 Annual Convention without penalty and with a refund. No refunds will be processed after this date. Please see the Dates & Deadlines page of the convention website for additional deadlines.

Participation Confirmation Letters Sent

Acceptance letters for ISA 2011 participants are being sent by e-mail from ISA HQ today. The e-mail you receive will contain important information about your participation, including links to the online program, participant guidelines, poster sessions, the convention hotels, travel information, audio-visual resources, and child care services. We look forward to seeing you in Montreal.
