ISA will offer a unique teaching and learning innovative panel on the theme From Virtual to Real: Simulating Conflict Dynamics in a Global Information Age. Registration is now open for participation in this innovative panel to occur in two parts: first, participants will meet on Facebook for several sessions to be scheduled from January to March 2012. As part of a global online simulation, participants will represent political leaders in the Arab-Israel conflict, powers outside the region, and international organizations, to help create foreign policy goals and plan strategic options representing their group's interests. Next, at the ISA Annual Conference in San Diego, participants will work, face-to-face, in a conflict management role, to address the issues developed in the first part of the simulation. This will be done as a part of a special innovative panel session on Monday, April 2nd, 2012 from 4:00 - 5:45pm. This panel has been organized by Hemda Ben-Yehuda, Chanan Naveh & Luba Levin-Banchik, Political Studies Dept., Bar Ilan University & School of Communication, Sapir College, Israel.
