ASIL’s Midyear Meeting kicks off in downtown Atlanta with a career and mentoring program, followed by the panel discussion (eligible for 1.5 CLE credit hours*) on the theme "When Transnational Business Deals Go Sour: The Challenges and Opportunities of International Arbitration" and a reception. The meeting will be held October 19-21, 2012 and starts in Atlanta and then moves to the University of Georgia School of Law in Athens. The meeting will include keynote addresses by United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Legal Affairs and UN General Counsel Patricia O’Brien and U.S. State Department Legal Adviser Harold Hongju Koh as well as the Research Forum. The Research Forum will provide a setting for the presentation and focused discussion of more that 50 scholarly works-in-progress. Please see the Midyear Meeting website for more information.
