The Ritsumeikan Center for Asia Pacific Studies (RCAPS), Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU) would like to announce its Call for Presenters for the 2012 Annual Asia Pacific Conference to be held December 7-9, 2012 in Beppu City, Oita, Japan. Every year, the Ritsumeikan Center for Asia Pacific Studies (RCAPS) holds an international Asia Pacific Conference (AP Conference) aiming at becoming a Center of Excellence. This year’s AP Conference will consist of two parts. One part will be a “Graduate Student Workshop” and the other part will consist of regular panel sessions. The two parts will simultaneously take place on the APU Campus with overlapping schedules. The theme for the workshop is “Disaster Management and Japan”, and the theme for the regular panel sessions is study fields relating to the Asia Pacific. Paper proposals will be accepted on a rolling basis until October 15, 2012. Please see the conference website for more information.
