CFP: The Use, Misuse and Abuse of Identity

The University of Aberdeen invites papers for Moving Forward 2012, the 9th Annual Postgraduate Conference of the College of Arts and Social Sciences, to be held 22 - 24 June 2012. The organizers will consider proposals on the theme: The Use, Misuse and Abuse of Identity. The conference intends to draw upon its tradition of interdisciplinary postgraduate dialogue to spark a series of conversations and considerations upon this ‘crisis’, and to reflect upon the use, misuse and abuse of identity within and without the academy. Proposals for papers and panels must be submitted by Friday 3 February 2012. The full call for papers has been posted on the conference website.
