CFP: 4th Annual ASMEA Conference

The program chairs invite proposals for the 4th Annual ASMEA Conference to be held November 3-5, 2011 at the Key Bridge Marriott Hotel in Washington, D.C. The conference theme is: Out of the Past, Into the Future: Reflections on the Middle East and Africa. Members from any discipline, tenured or untenured faculty or those otherwise affiliated with a recognized research institution, may submit proposals to participate in the conference. Unique proposals from senior graduate students (ABD) will also be considered. Abstracts on topics related to the Middle East and Africa should consist of a one-page outline of the proposed subject to be presented. A recent C.V. and all contact data must be attached to the proposal (name, e-mail, phone number, affiliation). The due date for proposals is Wednesday, June 1, 2011. Proposals should be sent to: info@asmeascholars.org.  Completed papers are due by September 5, 2011.
