The University of Trento in Italy invites applications for their 2011-2012 PhD Scholarships in International Studies program. The doctorate combines interdisciplinary approaches within a structure based on economics, law and politics. It is entirely in English, with a taught component in the first year and there will be at least 5 funded places. While all projects related to the main areas covered in the School of International Studies are welcome, candidates with interests in the following areas will be preferred: International Law, International and EC Labour Law, European Union Law, Comparative Legal Studies, International Criminal Justice, Transnational Crime, European Political, Economic and Monetary Integration, International Trade and Economic Development, International Political Economy, EU Public Policy, Comparative Public Policy, Multi-level Governance, Peace-building and Conflict Resolution, Post-1945 International and European History.
