The editors announce a call for papers for a special issue of Feminist Formations, an interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal publishing innovative work by scholars, activists, and practitioners in feminist, gender, and sexuality studies. The journal values established and emerging lines of inquiry and methods that engage the complexities of gender as implicated in forms of power such as race, ethnicity, class, nation, migration, ability, and religion. Papers on the theme Educational Formations: Gendered Experiences of Schooling in Local Contexts should be sent to Joan DeJaeghere at ffgened@umn.edu by Jan. 10, 2011. Manuscripts will be subject to blind review and must adhere to the publishing guidelines of the Feminist Formations journal, found on the website.
