A conference on "Assessing the Complexities of South Asian Migration" will be held at Wilfrid Laurier University, Waterloo, Ontario, Canada May 19th-21st 2011. The conference posits that examining South Asian migration necessitates interdisciplinary and international collaborative approaches to both conceptualization and field studies. The aim of this conference is to take stock of the different topics currently being researched by Canadian and international scholars, and define new areas for possible research, and opportunities for future collaboration. Graduate students and faculty are invited to attend this multidisciplinary conference.
