Conference: Authoritarianism in East Asia

The City University of Hong Kong’s Southeast Asia Research Centre (SEARC) announces a forthcoming international conference, entitled Authoritarianism in East Asia, which will be held June 29th to July 1st at the City University of Hong Kong’s campus.  The conference offers a timely and comparative examination of contemporary political institutions in China, Viet Nam, North Korea, Hong Kong, and Macao.  With the participation of numerous leading international scholars, the conference promises to be one of the most significant academic events in the region this year.
