The program chairs invite paper proposals for the “Returning to Katrina: Bringing Hurricane Katrina Research Back to the Community” conference, June 4-5, 2010, University of Southern Mississippi Gulf Coast, Long Beach, Mississippi. Issue areas may include any area or application of community resilience from all academic disciplines, including disaster mitigation, geographic and scientific perspectives, and economic, political, and social resilience. Abstracts for presentations should be between 250-500 words, and should be sent as attachments in a .doc, .docx, or .pdf format. The registration form is available online. Please submit all abstracts and registration forms to the attention of Jack Covarrubias at CPR@usm.edu by the deadline of March 15, 2010.
