CfP: MACLAS 2010

Johns Hopkins University invites paper proposals for the annual conference of the Mid-Atlantic Council of Latin American Studies (MACLAS), to be held March 26-27, 2010 in Baltimore, MD. Please submit a 250-word abstract for individual papers or complete panel proposals (250 word abstracts for all 4 papers) in English or Spanish to maclasproposals@gmail.com by December 31, 2009.  Presentations should be between 15 and 20 minutes long.  Please be sure to include a title, your name (and the name of all participants if a panel), your institution and your role (faculty, student or other title). MACLAS offers prizes for the best undergraduate and graduate papers submitted, as well as prizes to the membership at large for best article and best book published in 2008-2009.  Please see the website www.maclas.org for more information.
