The Studies in Asian Security series, published by Stanford University Press and sponsored by the East-West Center, has secured a grant to make up to four awards of US$6,000 to US$9,000 each for proposals or manuscripts in progress judged by the committee to be suitable for the series. The series editorial committee is looking for high quality, theoretically oriented single author proposals or manuscripts on Asian security. The deadline for receiving proposals is August 22, 2009.
