Bradley University's annual Berlin Seminar will be held from July 5 through July 11, 2009. This program is intended for academics interested in the history and contemporary culture, society, economy, and politics of Germany and Europe. Centered at the European Academy in Berlin-Grunewald, the seminar activities include discussions with leaders from the realms of academia, culture, and politics. There will also be guided trips to points of historical and contemporary interest, including a day trip to Dresden. All sessions are conducted in English or with a translator. The cost is $1600, which includes room and board in Berlin, the seminar program, and the Dresden trip. Applications are due by January 15, 2009.
