The program committee invites submissions for the 2nd Conference on the Political Economy of International Organizations, which will be held in Geneva, Switzerland on January 29-31, 2009, at the University of Geneva and the Graduate Institute of International Studies. The conference will bring together economists and political scientists working on political aspects of international governmental and non-governmental organizations. The first conference was held early in 2008 at Monte Veritá; the third one is scheduled to take place in 2010 in Washington, D.C., organized by James Vreeland (Yale University).
Keynote Speakers
The program of the conference will include three keynote speakers: Helen V. Milner (Princeton University), Graham Bird (University of Surrey), and Richard Baldwin (Graduate Institute of International Studies).
Submission of Papers
Both empirical and theoretical papers will be considered. Please submit full papers to PEIO@kof.ethz.ch. The deadline for submission is September 30, 2008. Final decisions will be made by October 31, 2008.
