The Martin O. Heisler Award Committee is pleased to announce the winners for the 2007 graduate student paper competition.
The First Place recipient is Tristan James Mabry (PhD Candidate, Department of Political Science, University of Pennsylvania) for the paper "Laitin on Language ". The recipient will receive a one-year paid membership in ISA and the ENMISA section and an award of $200.00.
The second place recipient is Omar McDoom (London School of Economics) for his paper "Why Men Kill: The Microfoundations of Ethnic Radicalization and Extremism: Insights from Rwanda" The second place award carries with it a $100.00 prize.
