This award is sponsored by the Scientific Study of International Processes Section (SSIP) and honors the best graduate student paper presented at a panel or poster session sponsored by the SSIP section or the Convention Theme at the prior year’s Annual Convention.

Submission/Nomination

• Nominations should be sent electronically to the Award Chair.
• The deadline for submissions is June 1st of the year in which the paper was presented.
• Nominations should be submitted electronically to all three members of the award committee by August 1st.

Selection

• Award will be announced at the SSIP Business Meeting at the ISA Annual Convention

Prize

• A $100.00 (USD) cash prize and and a certificate is awarded to the recipient.

Award Committee

The three member committee is appointed by the ISA President with the concurrency of the Governing Council. Their two year term officially begin with the ISA Governing Council meeting of the first year listed and end with the closing of the ISA Governing Council meeting of the final year listed.

The Committee Chair is responsible for sending award information to the ISA Award Coordinator and for notifying the recipient of the award and encouraging the recipient to attend the Annual Convention at which the award is to be presented so as to receive the award in person.
