The ISA Midwest Board has established this as the best book award for the ISA-Midwest Region.
Award Details
Following discussion at the 2010 region meeting at the annual ISA-Midwest conference, the ISA-Midwest Board approved this award. The first award was given at the 2011 ISA-Midwest conference. This triennial award is given to the author (or co-authors) of an outstanding book published in the previous three years (no edited volumes). Submission/Nomination
- The book must be solo authored (no edited volumes).
- The book must have a copyright three years prior to the year the award is being given.
- The nomination must be made by an ISA Midwest member (self-nominations are welcome).
- The author(s) must be a member of the ISA Midwest, or have attended the conference in the previous five years, and the nomination must be made by an ISA-Midwest member (self-nominations accepted).
- Nominations for the 2014 award should be sent to the ISA-Midwest president no later than March 15, 2013. Books published in 2011, 2012, and 2013 will be eligible.
- The three members of the selection committee read the nominated books and determine the winner.
- Two copies of the nominated books should be mailed to the Committee Chair.
- The deadline for nominations is July 15, 2013.
