ISSS Best Paper Award

The ISSS Annual Best Paper Award recognizes the best graduate student paper on any aspect of security studies.

Submission/Nomination

  • Nominations (with an electronic copy of the paper) normally come from faculty supervisors and mentors as well as panel chairs or discussants at the above mentioned conferences and should include a one paragraph justification.
  • Papers presented at the March 2011 ISA conference and the ISSS/ISAC conference (to be held in Irvine, CA in October 2011) are eligible for submission for the award to be presented in 2012.
  • Please send your papers to the selection committee chair: Gunhild Hoogensen Gjørv (gunhild.hoogensen.gjorv@uit.no)
  • Nomination Deadline: October 31

Prize

  • The award includes a plaque and a small monetary component which will be distributed at a reception at the ISA Annual Convention in San Diego in 2012.
