The International Studies Association's International Political Economy Section seeks to recognize the best dissertation completed and accepted in the previous two years (2010-2012 for the 2013 award) in the field of international political economy.
Nomination Process
- A ten page summary of the dissertation along with the nomination letter from the dissertation committee chair/member should be emailed to the IPE Dissertation Award Committee latest by October 1, 2012.
- The IPE Best Dissertation Award Committee will short-list three dissertations and invite the submission of the full dissertations.
- The winner will be announced at the IPE section meeting in San Francisco in April 2013 and will receive a framed certificate and check for $100.
