Instructions for using Powerpoint/Adobe Reader OnSite
- Save your presentation on a USB Flash or Thumb drive and bring it to the convention. DO NOT DISCONNECT THE ISA LAPTOP COMPUTER – this will cause the LCD projector to reset and you will have to call for technical support help! THIS WILL DELAY YOUR PANEL
- To start your presentation, locate the USB port on the personal computing netbook. The netbook will be located on a standing podium near the LCD projector, or on a cocktail table near the Head Table. Insert the flash drive into the USB port.
- Double-click on the FLASHDRIVE shortcut on the netbook desktop
- Find your file and double-click on it to open
- Keep the flashdrive plugged in during your presentation
- When presentation is completed, close all windows and remove your flashdrive
- DO NOT UNPLUG OR TURN OFF LAPTOP OR LCD PROJECTOR!
INTERNET OPTIONS FOR PRESENTERS
ISA does not provide internet in panel rooms, nor is it provided in any meeting room. We have negotiated special pricing for presenters wishing to utilize internet during their panels or roundtables. The cost is $50 per device for wireless; $100 per device for wired, at either hotel. Panelist must PRE-ORDER and pay on their own. Set-up at the start of the panel will take at least 20 minutes to complete. A SEPARATE FORM IS REQUIRED FOR EACH PAYOR. ADVANCE RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS PRICE – AT LEAST 3 WEEKS IN ADVANCE! The ISA netbooks have basic internet capabilities using the Microsoft Explorer browser, but are not set up for any other browser or application type. If technical support is needed beyond installing the wired line or IP address for wireless, those costs are the responsibility of the panelist.
To reserve, please provide the title of your panel, date/time/room/hotel of the panel, the name and email address for each payor, to Jeanne White at jeannewhite@isanet.org. The appropriate order form will then be sent to you or to individual payors, as requested. You will send the form to the appropriate supplier and work directly with the supplier from that point on.

The Hilton San Francisco Union Square ISA group rate includes free guestroom internet for those staying at the hotel. Contact the hotel front desk to purchase guestroom internet (if not in an ISA-rate room bloc) or rent a workstation at the Business Center (Union Square, Lobby Level).
