Long Range Planning Committee

Dating back to the early days of the ISA, the Long Range Planning Committee aims to ensure the long term success and efficiency of ISA by promoting consistency between ISA governance and practice. In recent years, the Committee has helped plan for the transition for one ISA Headquarters to the next.

About

Terms

  • Seven members serve two-year, staggered terms
  • Terms officially begin with the start of the ISA Annual Convention meeting of the first year listed and end with the closing of the ISA Governing Council meeting of the final year listed

Selection

  • Permanent standing committee
  • The Committee is appointed by ISA President with approval by ISA Governing Council
  • President, Past-President, President-Elect, Executive Director and Director of Operations of ISA will serve as ex-officio members

Responsibilities

The Long Range Planning Committee makes recommendations to the Executive Committee regarding Amendments needed and/or proposed to the ISA Constitution, the annual convention, ISA affiliate-organization status, membership, and other related issues.
