Become A Cooperating Organization

Benefits of Cooperating Organization Status

Cooperating organizations are invited to participate in ISA's activities, including the annual convention, various international conferences and joint workshops. Other benefits of cooperating status include reciprocity in web site promotion, publicity and announcements, and shared Internet resources, including the private ISA listserv and blog. We have posted a list of our current cooperating organizations on our website here.

Annual Convention Activities

Cooperating Organizations are often invited to participate in ISA's Annual Convention and may receive a small quota of panels for their membership. For additional questions or concerns, please contact the DIRECTOR of ACADEMIC Development, Andrea Gerlak (agerlak@isanet.org).

Cooperating organizations should meet the following criteria:

  • The organization should be a scholarly, professional organizations
  • The purpose should reflect purposes similar to ISA, as identified by the ISA's constitution
  • The cooperation should be likely to lead to meaningful, reciprocal, and ongoing activities

  • Please indicate that your association is in conformance with our three criteria for cooperative status.
  • Please provide a list of the key officers of your organization, along with their e-mail addresses and their mailing addresses, including the person who will be the primary contact for ISA.
  • If you have a website, please provide us with the address so that we may link to it from our list of Cooperating Organizations, as well as our list of Internet resources. Naturally, we request a reciprocal link exchange.
