  • oversees the operations of the executive office
  • responsible for the ISA budget and finances
  • future convention planning

 

Director of Academic Development

Andrea K. Gerlak 

  • facilitates section, region and caucus development
  • serves as a liason with the annual convention program chairs and section program chairs
  • oversees annual convention issues regarding cooperating organizations, innovative panels and working groups
  • manages ISA leadership/governance resources
  • coordinates section, region and caucus chartering and annual reporting
  • manages leadership policy and procedure queries

 

Director of Administrative Support

Lyn Brabant 

  • responsible for the supervision and management of administrative, personnel and operational functions of the executive offices
  • performs all recruitment activities for the association
  • coordinates state financial accounts
  • processes requests for letters of invitation for convention participants
  • manages accounts for ISA Sections, Regions and Caucuses
  • serves as liaison between the University of Arizona, the SCHOOL OF GOVERNMENT AND PUBLIC POLICY and ISA
  • processes applications for Cooperating Organization status

 

Director of Organizational Development

Mike Ryckman 

  • Coordinates "Innovation, Marketing and Branding" Project Team
  • Transition Coordinator - Helping ISA prepare for the 2015 transition
  • Primary Developer, MyISA and upcoming web framework

 

Director of Conventions & Meetings

Jeanne White 

  • responsible for planning, implementing and managing all non-panel functions associated with the Annual Convention and bi-annual International Conferences
  • oversees Exhibition and Advertising sales
  • manages hotel and vendor contracts
  • coordinates all workshops, business meetings and receptions that take place during the Annual Convention
  • handles all food and beverage orders for ISA and affiliate events
  • Manages Section and Region Convention Event Sponsorship
  • Manages the Decorating Company for the Annual Convention
  • Primary contact for region/section/caucus conferences

 

Director of Online & Membership Services

Joel Davis 

  • Maintains ISA's web presence
  • assists regions and sections with their web projects
  • edits the ISA newsletter, blog and listserv
  • manages ISA's presence on social and professional networks
  • assists members with their MyISA user profiles
  • assists users with MyISA login issues
  • receives and posts ISA's job ads from academic institutions
  • Responsible for replying to member inquiries regarding journal subscriptions, membership status, membership renewals, and duplicate accounts.
  • Processes membership and registration payments and helps maintain our member database
  • Issues receipts for membership and/or registration payments.

 

Marketing and Advertising Manager

Suela Mustafa 

  • Manages the Exhibitor Hall at the Annual Convention
  • Manages Advertising in the Convention Program and assembles the Convention printed program
  • Manages Sponsorship Opportunities
  • Manages all Applications and Contracts for Exhibitors, Advertisers and Sponsors
  • Manages Booth Personnel Registration
  • Coordinates Book Donations with Local Universities
  • Manages Sponsor Coupons
  • Research and development for marketing ideas, convention/conference related

 

Finance & Travel Grant Manager

Brittany John 

  • Coordinates the travel grant program
  • Accounts Receivables
  • Processes all invoicing for ISA Sales, including employment ads, mailing list rental orders and Annual Convention booth/ad/sponsorship sales.

 

Organizational Systems Manager

Elizabeth Fausett 

  • Works with Program and Section Program Chairs with the MyISA system and convention policy
  • Manages Region/Section/Caucus Conferences with the MyISA system, web presence and convention/conference policy, in coordination with Jeanne White

 

Events & Awards Coordinator

Angelica Robison 

  • Coordinates Awards, including award planning and processing of award certificates
  • Assists the DIRECTOR OF CONVENTIONS AND MEETINGS
  • Handles inquiries regarding journal subscriptions and replacement journals
  • Assists Director of Conventions onsite with checking catered events, placing signage, verifying daily AV setups
  • Serve as backup contact when Director of Conventions is unavailable
  • Manages database information in Event Pro to include initial setup and daily events
  • Creates customized catering menus using specifications and prices determined by Director of Conventions
  • Handles all food and beverage orders for ISA and affiliate events

 

 

Leadership Coordinator

Laura Gottschalk 

  • Assists the DIRECTOR OF ACADEMIC DEVELOPMENT with leadership communications, materials and updates
