Dating back to the early days of ISA, the Finance Committee reviews the fiscal practices of the Association and the ISA Annual Budget.

About

Terms

• Three committee members serve two-year, staggered terms
• Terms officially begin with the start of the ISA Annual Convention meeting of the first year listed and end with the closing of the ISA Governing Council meeting of the final year listed

Selection

• Permanent standing committee
• The Committee is appointed by ISA President with approval by ISA Governing Council
• The ISA Treasurer serves as Chair of the Committee
• President, Past-President, Executive Director and Director of Operations of ISA will serve as ex-officio members

Responsibilities

The Finance Committee reviews and makes recommendations regarding the ISA budget and financial practices and policies. The committee also makes recommendations regarding investments, disbursements, and other management issues as to the ISA Reserve Fund. The committee can decide whether or not to hire a financial adviser to help manage the ISA Reserve Fund.
