The mandate of the Ad Hoc Committee on Journal Governance is to consider the future governance of ISA Journals.

Please note that this information will be outdated by the end of the 2013 ISA Annual Convention. We will update ISA Leadership information (including officers and committees) on our new website in mid-April. A summary of new ISA Committee members is available for download here (PDF).

About

Terms

• Members currently serve an unlimited term while the committe is on an ad hoc basis
• Terms officially begin with the start of the ISA Annual Convention meeting of the first year listed and end with the closing of the ISA Governing Council meeting of the final year listed

Selection

• Ad hoc committee
• The committee members appointed by the ISA President, with the approval of the Governing Council
• President, Past-President, President-Elect, Chair of the Long Range Planning Committee, Chair of the Publications Committee and Executive Director of ISA will serve as an ex-officio member

Responsibilities

The committee may make recommendations regarding the journal governance policies.
