Annual Convention Deadline Reminder and Update

As some of our members have noticed, because of the overwhelming response to this year's Call for Papers, the system became overloaded and experienced some volume errors. We have rectified the situation and, as a result, have decided to extend the deadline for submissions through Thursday, June 2nd, 2016 at 6pm (EDT). We look forward to seeing you in Baltimore.

ISA Baltimore 2017 seeks paper, panel and round table submissions related to all areas of international studies and world politics. Particularly welcome are submissions related to our 2017 convention theme, Understanding Change in World Politics.

HR NYC 2016 - Two Weeks!

There is less than two weeks to go until the Human Rights in an Age of Ambiguity conference. If you are presenting a paper, hopefully you have submitted it to the paper archive and directly to your other panel members. If you have not been able to do this yet, make sure you keep your other panel members (and especially your discussant!) up to date. It is important that discussants have adequate time to read papers in advance of the conference.

The conference is being held at Fordham University’s Lincoln Center campus (West 60th and Columbus) in the E. Corrigan Conference Center, 12 Floor Lowenstein Hall. Registration opens at 8:30 on Monday 13 June, with the official opening of the conference at 10:00. From then on, we have three full days of panels and plenary sessions. Also note the reception after the opening keynote address on Monday afternoon. Program info can be found here

Don’t forget to follow us on Twitter @HRjc2016. If you tweet about the conference, use #HRjc2016.

We look forward to seeing you in New York!
