ISA-ICOMM 2016 - Call for Proposals

The International Studies Association ICOMM section is pleased to announce our 2016 conference, March 15th at the Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. ISA-ICOMM invites paper and panel proposals related to our conference theme, “Communication, Peace and Security in the 21st Century .” Communication, Peace and Security in the 21st Century is concerned with two developments that highlight the first decade and a half of the 21st Century: Information abundance and the ubiquity of mobile communication devices. While these trends are believed to have facilitated political uprisings and revolutions, there is much debate over whether they have increased the world’s peace and security. This special one-day conference examines this important question at the international, state and individual level. Proposal submissions open immediately - please submit your proposals through the ISA submission system. Paper and/or panel proposals are due by November 1st, 2015.
