The Religion and International Relations Section (REL) would like to solicit nominations for the Religion and International Relations Distinguished Scholar Award, which is extended annually to a scholar who has significantly contributed to the field of religion and international studies.

We are excited to announce that we are sponsoring the following two Working Groups at the upcoming ISA 2016 Annual Convention in Atlanta, Georgia:

  • REL/PEACE Working Group:Religion and Peace: Possibilities, Challenges and Prospects
  • ISSS Working Group: Strategic Foresight & IR for the 21st Century

The International Studies Association

Representing over 100 countries, ISA has more than 6,500 members worldwide and is the most respected and widely known scholarly association in this field. Endeavoring to create communities of scholars dedicated to international studies, ISA is divided into 6 geographic subdivisions of ISA (Regions), 29 thematic groups (Sections) and 4 Caucuses which provide opportunities to exchange ideas and research with local colleagues and within specific subject areas.
