The FTGS Section is happy to announce the FTGS book award! The competition was steep and spurned some very tough decisions. Thus, the committee is very pleased to make two awards this year:

Jemima Repo's The Biopolitics of Gender (Oxford, 2105)
and
Lauren Wilcox's Bodies of Violence (Oxford, 2014)

The Feminist Theory and Gender Studies (FTGS) section is awarding the Graduate Student Paper Award 2015 to Nicole Sunday Grove, formerly of Johns Hopkins University and now at University of Hawai'i at Manoa.

The FTGS Nominations Committee is seeking nominations for six leadership positions on the FTGS Executive Committee. Nominations are due by January 1, 2015.

The Feminist Theory and Gender Studies Section (FTGS) announces Rochelle Terman won the FTGS Graduate Student Paper Award 2014 and Shirin M. Rai won the Eminent Scholar Award for 2015. Thank you to all the nominees.
