These awards have different committees, nominating procedures and submission deadlines. They recognize outstanding papers, books, achievement, and service awards. ISA will be hosting its first Pressing Politics panel. You get to choose the current events issue and nominate experts for this panel. The panel will be held on Thursday, April 5th, at 4pm in Union Square 21, Hilton San Francisco Union Square.

The first annual International Studies Association Innovative Pedagogy Conference (ISA-IPC) will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2018, in St. Louis, MO, in conjunction with the ISA Midwest meeting. This new ISA initiative marks the beginning of a series of programs to be held in conjunction with regional conferences around the United States, and beyond.

Representing over 100 countries, ISA has more than 6,500 members worldwide and is the most respected and widely known scholarly association in this field. Endeavoring to create communities of scholars dedicated to international studies, ISA is divided into 6 geographic subdivisions of ISA (Regions), 29 thematic groups (Sections) and 4 Caucuses which provide opportunities to exchange ideas and research with local colleagues and within specific subject areas.
