The Third Global South International Studies Reunion was held in Havana, July 6-8, 2017. Having held its first meeting in 2012 in Menton, France under the sponsorship of Sciences Po/ Middle East campus, and its second in Singapore co-sponsored by Singapore Management University, the caucus was pleased to be able to hold this meeting in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The International Studies Association Global South Caucus (GSCIS) is pleased to announce that proposals are being accepted for our 2017 workshop, July 6th - 8th, 2017 in Havana Cuba. GSCIS, in collaboration with the University of Havana, invites paper and panel proposals on our theme, Exploring the Local in International Relations. Please see our call for more details. Proposal submissions can be sent immediately. The proposal submission deadline is Wednesday, February 15, 2017.

Endeavoring to create communities of scholars dedicated to international studies, ISA is divided into 6 geographic subdivisions of ISA (Regions), 29 thematic groups (Sections) and 4 Caucuses which provide opportunities to exchange ideas and research with local colleagues and within specific subject areas.
