Most participants already completed their registration but in case you haven't, we wanted to let you know that our online registration option closes on January 30th. If you complete your registration payment by the 30th, we'll have your badge ready to pick up and go - that's the fastest and easiest way to get started at the convention.

You can always register on site in Baltimore, but please be aware that it costs more and takes additional time than just registering online today.

Tips For On-Site Registration

  • Arrive early: On-site registration takes longer than just picking up your badge from the pre-registration desk. So, come early. If you have an 8:15 am panel on Wednesday, we strongly recommend coming Tuesday afternoon to get signed in (Check out the Registration/Badge Pickup Hours in the At the Convention page).
  • Have your card's billing address: Our credit card provider requires billing addresses for some credit card payments. So, if you're planning to register onsite, make sure you know the billing address for your card and have it ready.

We look forward to seeing you in Baltimore!

The International Studies Association Annual Convention is one of the primary places for early career scholars and professionals to deepen their knowledge of international studies, expand their networks, showcase their research and learn some tools of the trade. If you are still a student, newly graduated or just a few months or years into your professional career, the 2017 Annual Convention provides many opportunities for you to grow professionally.

We're working with a student team to document participants' experience at ISA 2017 in Baltimore, as well as craft additional resources for the ISA website and the Professional Resource Center. Stop by and say hello, see what we're up to, and maybe even take a turn in front of the camera.

Make your own plans to join the UConn DMD student team as they document the #ISA2017 experience!

The conference is approaching fast. Here are a few things to keep on top of in the next month:

Booking Your Hotel: If you haven't booked your hotel room yet, now is the time! The Renaissance Baltimore has lowered its double rate, applicable to new and existing reservations.

Check Your Information: Check your name and affiliation in your ISA account, as they will be included in the printed program at ISA 2017 - which goes to press soon!

Traveling to Baltimore: The ISA 2017 Travel Website includes information about getting to Baltimore, getting around Baltimore, and things to do while you're there - and a personalized website, created by the city of Baltimore for ISA 2017, with a wealth of information about Baltimore - check it out!
