While the deadline for papers and panels for the ISA Northeast regional conference is past, the deadline for applications to the ISA Northeast Pedagogy Workshop is Saturday, July 1. The workshop is intended for scholars on the job market or preparing for pre-tenure/tenure reviews. Participants work in small groups and individually with experienced mentors to engage collaborative learning techniques, workshop syllabi and polish statements of teaching philosophy. Applicants should send a CV, a syllabus (preferably for a course to be offered in spring 2018) and a statement of teaching philosophy to NE-pedagogy@isanet.org. Participation in the workshop is compatible with additional conference activities, and the program chairs will schedule participants’ successful paper or panel proposals for other conference slots.
