Call for Proposals

The ISA International Organization section requests proposals for the running of a special workshop on the topic of International Institutions and/in the Global South prior to the 2018 Convention in San Francisco (4-7 April).  The workshop should address the relationship between international institutions and/in the Global South.  In addition, in its composition it should offer balanced views that include the participation of scholars from the Global South.  The committee may award up to $5000 to support a collaborative initiative on this topic.  The deadline for applications is July 30, 2017.  To apply, please send a 2-3 page project proposal with a clear title and abstract. The proposal should also address 1) the relevance of the chosen topic, 2) the research question(s), 3) the participants (including affiliation and sub-topics), 4) specific methods and data sources, 5) the future prospects of the project and, 6) a budget.  Please send proposals to Karen Mingst  kmingst@uky.edu.
