ISA’s Annual Convention offers participants the opportunity to take part in Career Courses (CC). Career Courses are half-day sessions in which an Instructor, or team of Instructors, offers registered attendees instruction on a specific subject within their area of expertise. Past CC have included case writing and teaching, using simulations in the classroom, and designing programs for international education, among others.

CC are a successful component of the Association’s annual programming, with 88% of 2016 Annual Convention CC survey respondents stating that they would be likely or very likely to attend another CC at a future Convention. Serving as a Career Course instructor is thus an excellent way to enhance Convention attendees’ professional development opportunities, showcase your own skills and/or research, and expand your network. If you are interested in teaching a Career Course at our 2018 Annual Convention in San Francisco, please visit http://www.isanet.org/Conferences/Special-Convention-Programs/Career-Courses and contact Kristy Belton, Director of Professional Development, if you have any questions. The deadline for CC proposals is June 1, 2017.
