WCIS Graduate Student Best Paper Award: Call for Nominations

Purpose

  • WCIS seeks to acknowledge the best graduate student paper presented at the ISA Annual Convention.

Eligibility Requirements

  • WCIS graduate student members who presented a paper at the 2017 ISA Annual Convention in Baltimore. All authors must be graduate students at the time the paper is written.

Prize

  • $500 Cash Prize + $200 Travel Support to attend the ISA Annual Convention in San Francisco in 2018.

Selection Process

  • The WCIS Graduate Student Best Paper Award welcomes nominations and self-nominations until June 1st. 
  • Members of the WCIS Executive Committee will review the nominated papers and select a winner.
  • Winners will be recognized at the ISA Annual Convention in San Francisco in 2018. Winners who are unable to attend the ISA Annual Convention will be recognized and awarded in absentia.

Apply for Award

  • Deadline: June 1, 2017
  • Submissions should be made via email to the WCIS Awards and Elections Coordinator, Saira Bano (University of Calgary)
  • Nominations should be submitted in PDF format
