News and Updates from FPA

ISA Headquarters posted on June 07, 2016 16:44

We are hereby providing the final program for our upcoming conference in Thessaloniki and the logistics memo.

Please note the following:

  •  The attached program has undergone numerous revisions. It includes the room numbers of the panels. Please read it carefully. We cannot accommodate any more changes.
  • Each presenter will have 10-12 minutes maximum for their presentation. Each discussant will have 15 minutes for comments.
  • As indicated in the attached logistics memo, the organizers will provide transportation for the opening reception on the evening of June 13. For all other occasions, please use public transportation or taxis.
  • During the regular conference hours, there will be a desk manned by our staff who will address any questions that you may have. The desk will also have badges, limited copies of the conference program, and a sign-up sheet that each participant will be asked to sign. During and outside regular conference hours, you can also send an email to ciss@isanet.org and/or isa.ciss2016@gmail.comwith your questions. Please bear in mind that participants are expected to print their own program and/or download a digital copy and bring it to the conference.
  • Because we have decided not to open a tab to submit papers via the ISA system, presenters should send their papers to their discussants by Friday, June 3rd. Also, we kindly ask that you also send them to the entire panel. If for whatever reason you cannot make the deadline, please notify your discussant and indicate when they should expect to receive your paper. Bear in mind that discussants are not expected to prepare comments after the deadline.
  • As a reminder, if you have not already done so, you must register via ISA online before you come to the conference (there is no on-site registration). To register, please contact Liz (lfausett@isanet.org) as soon as possible. Please CC this email (ciss@isanet.org). Before you do, you will need to have an ISA account (or create it via www.isanet.org). Once you email her, she will add the registration fee into your cart and you can pay online.

If you have any questions, please ask.

We very much look forward to seeing you in Thessaloniki!
