Mark your calendars! We are very pleased to announce that the 2013 ISSS-ISAC meeting -- the sectional conference of the International Security Studies Section of ISA and the International Security and Arms Control Section of APSA -- will be hosted by the Elliott School of International Affairs at the George Washington University, in Washington, D.C. from 4-6 October 2013, with accommodations at the nearby Key Bridge Marriott. The conference theme is "Bridging the Academic/Policy Divide." We aim especially to encourage submissions that address challenges in translating security theories into policy recommendations and injecting policy wisdom and lessons into scholarly analysis and debate. We will begin accepting paper and panel submissions in the middle of June 2013. More information and the official call for papers will be provided at that time. We look forward to a great conference and to welcoming you to Washington, D.C.
