The Religion and International Relations Section (REL) would like to solicit nominations for the Religion and International Relations Distinguished Scholar Award, which is extended annually to a scholar who has significantly contributed to the field of religion and international studies. Nominees should be members of the International Studies Association. The winner will be honored at the 2017 ISA Annual Convention in Baltimore with a roundtable and plaque.

Nominations need to be accompanied by a supporting letter, written by a scholar other than the nominee and the nominee’s curriculum vitae. All materials must be sent by email to the committee members Jocelyne Cesari (jcesari@fas.harvard.edu), Ron Hassner (hassner@berkeley.edu) and Jeffrey Haynes (jeff.haynes@londonmet.ac.uk) by May 10th, 2016. If you are nominating a scholar, please make sure to have the nominee's consent first.
