The World International Studies Committee (WISC) has issued a "Call for Hosts" for a first round of "Exploratory Workshops" in the Global South. In the envisaged "Exploratory Workshops", cross‐national groups of 5 to 8 researchers from all parts of the world, but especially from the Global South, are expected to meet over two to three days and discuss initial ideas for collaborative medium to long-term research projects. The ideal host(s) of the WISC Exploratory Workshops shall be able to prove a venue, located in accessible places in the Global South; organize all aspects of the "Exploratory Workshops"; mobilize financial and/or in-kind resources to provide the WISC with co-funding for this event. Applications should be mailed to wisc2014@soz.uni-frankfurt.de. Deadline for application submissions is 1 July 2015. Decisions will be communicated in the second half of July 2015. More details are available here (http://www.wiscnetwork.org/exploratory_workshops.php). WISC is an ISA Partner Organization.
