First, we need nominations for officers!  Please send Deborah Larson (dlarson@polisci.ucla.edu)nominations (you can nominate yourself) including a short bio by February 21th.  We have three at large positions that need to be filled.  The jobs are not onerous but are important: helping to organize the Innovative Panels, select the Alexander George Award winners and so on.   Deborah Larson, the incoming chair, has nominated Klaus Brummer to be the next Vice President/Program Chair.

Second, we need nominations for the Distinguished Scholar Award for 2015—send those to me at steve_saideman@carleton.ca.  The membership makes suggestions and then the Executive Council uses those suggestions to selection a scholar to be honored.
