ISA's Post-Communist Systems in International Relations Section (POSTCOMM) invites nominations for the Robert H. Donaldson Award. The award recognizes the  best paper written in the field of post-Communist studies. Winners receive a certificate and a $200.00 cash prize at the Section business meeting at the ISA Annual Convention, as well as notice in the Section newsletter and website. All submissions must be from POSTCOMM members who are in good standing (dues paid in the year paper is submitted), and must have been presented at the annual ISA meeting in the year the paper is submitted (i.e., the 2014 award must be from papers given at the 2014 Annual Convention in Toronto and the award will be presented at the 2015 Annual Convention). Papers may be from any discipline in the social sciences, may be theoretical or empirical in emphasis, but must cover some portion of the POSTCOMM study area, as defined in the Section charter. The submission deadline is 5 p.m. ET, September 1, 2014. Please see the award website for additional information.
